Find a Family Lawyer, powered by JustFund
We have developed a smart matching service called Find a Family Lawyer that matches prospective clients with suitable family lawyers in the JustFund network.
JustFund knows from talking to thousands of clients that finding an accessible and trusted family lawyer can be very daunting. We also know that one in three clients switch lawyers during their matter for a range of reasons.
Find a Family Lawyer is free for clients and family lawyers, and leverages AI to provide personalised and empathetic responses to clients, and to ensure the information provided is relevant and helpful.
How it works
- Clients provide as much or as little information as they want about their circumstances via the JustFund-hosted Find a Family Lawyer website
- Our matching service identifies potentially suitable family lawyers using matter type, location, and a client’s preferences
- We present the client with up to five family lawyers that match their needs
- We email each shortlisted firm with a brief summary of the matter and why the firm was recommended
- The client may contact one or more firms, or none

Important notes
- A shortlist is not a guarantee that the client will make contact with a firm
- Notifications are sent to the primary contact recorded during the JustFund accreditation or re-accreditation process
- Lawyers or their law firm can opt out at any time

- Client submissions are encrypted in transit and at rest
- We do not identify the client without consent
